From a background in theatre, antique sales and restoration, property management and remodeling, David Newton launched These Faux Walls in 1990 as a way to express his varied talents. The company's original focus on the creation of unique faux finishes for rooms and furnishings expanded over time to include wallpapering, exterior painting, Venetian plaster and custom cabinet refinishing. By 2004, a new name – RoomService Painting & Finishing – better described the range of services offered to the design community and discriminating homeowners across Northeast Ohio.

With a strong base of residential clients, the artisans of RoomService Painting & Finishinghave also created a number of exciting interiors for a number of hotels, showrooms, hospitals and restaurants.
